Chartered Accountancy (CA) Courses in Kerala Institutes

One can pursue a course in chartered accountancy either after completing their 12th standard or after getting a bachelor's degree. The course offered by several institutions in Kerala has three parts namely Foundation, Intermediate and Final stage. Candidates who have qualified their 10+2 examination in any stream are eligible to apply for the foundation course offered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The course is conducted for a period of one year and the Board of Studies provides them with the required study materials. Fundamentals of Accounting, Mercantile Law, Mathematics and Statistics and Economics are the subjects taught in this course. To sit for the intermediate examination, candidates need to qualify the oral tuition scheme conducted by the Board of Studies. They should also go through a nine months training program as an audit clerk or articled. Students who have successfully completed Group I and Group II of the intermediate section are eligible to sit for the Final Examination.
